We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed full-time teacher to join a secondary school in Darwen from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher looking for a varied timetable across Girls’ PE, Science and Health & Social Care. The position will initially run until Christmas, with the potential for the role to continue into the New Year due to the ongoing needs of the school.
The TimetableThe role will be approximately:

• Girls’ PE – 40%
• Science – 40%
• Health & Social Care – 20%

We are looking for a teacher with experience in one or more of these subject areas who can confidently deliver engaging lessons across the timetable.
The Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or have relevant teaching experience.
• Have experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
• Have experience or relevant qualifications in PE, Science and/or Health & Social Care.
• Be confident delivering engaging and well-structured lessons.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Be committed to supporting pupils’ progress and development.
• Be available for a full-time position from September.
