KS2 Higher Level Teaching Assistant ( HLTA )

Key-Stage Teacher Supply is currently looking for an enthuastic Higher Level teaching assistant to support in KS2 at a Primary School in Wigan. This role will start in September. Previous KS2 experience and a DBS on the update service is essential for this role. 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class support to teachers and pupils across KS2
• Monitor and report on pupil progress

• cover lessons
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment

• Promote and support positive behaviour strategies across the classroom

Requirements:

• Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 4)
• Previous experience working with primary aged children
• Confidence supporting pupils with a range of learning needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
