Position Overview:
We are seeking a Humanities teacher to cover maternity leave starting in December24. The ideal candidate will have the ability to also cover PE and History, making this a versatile role within a vibrant school community.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons that meet the curriculum requirements.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Cover PE and History classes as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Strong subject knowledge in Humanities, with the ability to teach PE and History.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
