Nursery & Reception Teaching Assistant L2

Key Stage Teacher Supply are seeking a compassionate and proactive Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Haslingden area as soon as possible. 
This is a full time, long term position, working with pupils across Nursery and Reception Monday to Friday.

SEND Teaching Assistant role requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant Early Years 
  • Ability to build positive and consistent relationships with pupils
  • A proactive and adaptable approach
  • Willingness to support with personal care if required (training provided)
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply

The successful Teaching Assistant will:

• Assist with both learning activities and personal development
• Support pupils with communication, behaviour and engagement
• Help create a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment
• Work closely with teachers, SENCO and wider support staff
• Adapt support strategies to meet individual pupil needs
