An Invitation to the launch of Young Carers Memorandum of Understanding

After finishing a busy day in the  branch organising our schools, teachers and support staff, Ben Melling, our Senior Consultant in Chorley, then goes and dedicates his time in the evenings supporting the young carers within Blackburn with Darwen.

‘The aim of the support is to let our young carers be ‘children’ just for a few hours and for them to have some time for themselves with their peers.  It is such a rewarding role working with a group of such dedicated and inspiring young adults. says Ben.

On Wednesday 20th November 2013 Child Action North West  are launching ‘Young Carers Memorandum of Understanding’.

  • Information about being a young carer and the opportunity to have Q and A with the young carers themselves.
