We are supporting a new provision that is opening in Blackpool in April 2024. The hub are looking to support students who are facing barriers to accessing mainstream or specialist schools. We are looking for a tutor to work in the provision or out in the local community dependent on the individual and would be 25 hours per week however they are open to part time applicants.

Tuition is a great opportunity to support pupils and flexible to your lifestyle. It is a very rewarding and you are genuinely making a difference to pupils who are unable to access mainstream school. You will be teaching pupils with ideally both Maths and English – KS3 or Functional Skills.

As a a Specialist Teacher, you will:

• Demonstrate a successful teaching experience with pupils with a wide range of SEND on a one to one basis or small group basis

• Have previous experience of planning and presenting a differentiated curriculum and have experience of and a willingness to train in communication approaches to curriculum access

• Challenge and motivate students, promote and reinforce self-esteem

• Support students consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs
