Key Stage Teacher Supply

The Headteacher of one of local schools in the Accrington area is looking to recruit an experienced and capable Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a range of KS2 classes on a one to one and general classroom cover basis.

This school aims to create an inclusive, happy, stimulating learning environment, which allows equal opportunities for all, where children will achieve their potential; intellectually, emotionally, physically and socially.

This job role is a full time requirement, school hours and you must be demonstrate flexibility within the role and experience of supporting pupils with learning and behavioural needs is desirable but not essential.

This role has an immediate start so having a DBS on the update service is of an advantage.

The required experience/characteristics for the Teaching Assistant role is:

  • Supporting the class teacher and the pupils within their daily routine
  • SEND experience
  • Experience supporting KS2 pupils
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications or Degree or experience
  • A passion for improving standards consistently, encouraging students to engage in learning
  • Someone who can create a motivational environment, promoting positive attitudes to learning
  • Pro-active and resilient
