Key Stage Supply

The Headteacher of a welcoming and caring Primary School in Wigan is looking to recruit a capable Teaching Assistant, who has clear experience of supporting pupils within EYFS

The post is to start in immediately, and will be full time Monday – Friday.

The school aims to provide a supportive, inclusive and aspirational learning environment by ensuring that each child is cared for, demonstrate good manners and is able to follow instruction with thought and care.

The required experience for the Teaching Assistant role is: 

  • Knowledge and Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Framework
  • Experience of supporting children with SEND
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant Qualification, to Level 2 or equivalent
  • A Teaching Assistant with a passion for improving standards
  • A Teaching Assistant who can create an inclusive environment, and remove all barriers to learning
  • Pro-active and resilient
  • Strong Behaviour Management
