We are working in partnership with a specialist school near Blackpool who support pupils with additional needs ages 2-19. The school are looking to recruit Teaching Assistant Full Time due to a recent increase in pupil numbers. The role is for an immediate start however they are open to September applications in addition to immediately available applicants.

The school is rated ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED and they have held this status for the last 10 years!  The school prides itself on striving to provide fantastic teaching and learning in an inclusive environment where all learners are cared for, valued and respected. What the school are looking for;

• Ideally Level 2 Teaching Assistant or Health and Social Care Qualification or equivalent
• Experience in supporting pupils with SEND this could come from a wide range of backgrounds from own family members, sports coaching, social/residential care, mainstream which transfer to a teaching assistant role
• A real passion in supporting pupils with their individual need
• Strong Team Work skills due to you will be working within a team of teaching assistants
• A resilient teaching assistant who is open to change every day will be different
