Key Stage Teacher Supply

The Headteacher of a successful local community primary school in Bolton, is looking to recruit a highly experienced SEND Teaching assistant to work on a one to one basis with a child with mobility issues. This role is ongoing and full time school hours, as it is an immediate start, holding a valid DBS certificate is of an advantage.

The primary school you would be working in is an inclusive, diverse school where every child is respected, loved and encouraged to achieve excellence in all that they do. The school aims to offer a stimulating environment and high standards of education.

The required experience/characteristics for the SEND Teaching Assistant role is:

  • Supporting the class teacher and the pupil within their daily routine
  • Experience supporting KS1 and Early Years pupils who have complex needs
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications or Degree or experience
  • A passion for improving standards consistently, encouraging students to engage in learning
  • Experience of mobility issues and some elements of personal care are essential
