Job Description

Key Stage Teacher Supply

The Headteacher of our local Christian school where they promote a caring, stimulating and secure environment for children to be encouraged to strive to do their best in all aspects of their learning and development, is looking to recruit a highly experienced Teaching Assistant.

They are looking for a one to one support assistant who has a clear understanding and current experience in working with pupils who have complex needs and ASD, previous experience working with pupils in a Reception class and being able to deal with personal care is essential for this role.

This role has an immediate start and is a full time role, school hours and therefore having a current enhanced DBS on the update service would be of an advantage.

The required experience/characteristics for the Teaching Assistant role is:

  • Supporting the class teacher and the pupils within their daily routine
  • SEND experience essential
  • Experience supporting KS1 / EYFS pupils
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications or Degree
  • A passion for improving standards consistently, encouraging students to engage in learning
  • Someone who can create a motivational environment, promoting positive attitudes to learning
  • Pro-active and resilient
