Last night we attended the Lancashire Telegraph East Lancashire Schools Awards as sponsor of the Secondary Headteacher of the Year award. The event, held at Stanley House Hotel & Spa in Mellor, was a great success and a wonderful opportunity to showcase some of the best local talent in teaching and leadership.
It gives us great pleasure to be able to support an event like this, just as it does to work with over 300 local schools all year round. We are so proud that our teachers and support staff are able to contribute to the wonderful teaching and learning that goes on in local schools, and that they are a vital part of young people’s journey through education. That is why events like this, which recognise that excellence and dedication, are so important to us.
Big congratulations to all the winners! Particularly to Stuart Beaumont, who used to work with us and picked up the award for ‘Inspirational Teacher of the Year’ last night. Well done Stuart!

Key Stage Teacher Supply was delighted to be one of the main sponsors at the Lancashire Association of School Business Managers (LASBM) annual conference held at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel in Accrington Lancashire.
What a successful event which brought together over 90 bursars and business managers from nurseries, primary and secondary schools and academies throughout Lancashire.
Jane Scott, our Managing Director had the opportunity to present to the audience about the services of Key Stage Teacher Supply and to also share the benefits of Compliance+, the new best standard in education recruitment.
‘Having the grave yard slot after lunch is always a tricky one, commented Jane, but I am delighted how the presentation went and having over 20 of our current schools in the audience was a great help so a big thank you to all those that endorsed our company on the day’.
‘Key Stage Teacher Supply has always operated to high standards of recruitment practice but being accredited to Compliance+ gives our schools even greater confidence in our company and it should be a consideration to schools when selecting a recruitment partner that they look out for the Compliance+ logo’.
Thank you to Sue Edwards, the LASBM chair, and her team for organising a fantastic conference.
