How can I contact Key Stage Teacher Supply?
Our office hours are from 8.30am until 5.00pm Monday to Friday throughout the year except Bank Holidays. At Key Stage Teacher Supply we also operate an out of hours telephone service, where you can speak to your local consultant from 7.30am until 9.00pm Monday to Sunday. Any messages left after 9.00pm will be picked up first thing from 7.30am of the next morning.

What do I need to bring with me to the interview at Key Stage Teacher Supply?
- A completed application form that will be sent out to you at the time of making an appointment. Or click here to download an application form
- Current CRB Police Clearance Enhanced Disclosure (we can apply for one if necessary, there is a cost of £36 of which £18 is refundable after 15 days of working within the first academic year)
- Proof of your Qualifications PGCE/Degree Certificate. If not applicable, then any other relevant qualifications e.g. SSA/CACHE/NNEB/BTEC Child Care etc.
- DCSF number if applicable
- GTC Registration if applicable
- Three names and addresses of current referees at least one must be your most recent employer/placement
- Identification/Proof of eligibility to work we need to see at least two of the following: Passport/Birth Certificate/Driving Licence/Marriage Certificate/NI card
- Proof of current address - A recent Bank Statement or Utility Bill
- Bank/Building Society details
- Two passport size photographs
- Up to date CV
How long do the CRB checks take to process?
The actual length of time each Disclosure takes depends on the individual, but the CRB have a target to complete enhanced checks within four weeks of receiving the form.

How often will I be working?
At Key Stage Teacher Supply we endeavour to get you as much work as possible, dependant on your specific needs.

What if I can only work part time?
It does not matter how many days you are available whether it is half a day or 2 days At Key Stage Teacher Supply we aim to fulfil your needs. What we ask you to do is make sure you contact your local office regularly to advise when you are or are not available.

Simply let us know and we will make a record to contact you when we know you are going to be available again.

I have registered with you before what do I need to do?
If you have previously registered with Key Stage Teacher Supply we will re-activate your file and where necessary update your references and documentation. We may need you to attend a short re-registration appointment, please telephone your local office for further instructions. It is always good to hear from you.

How often do I get paid?
All Teachers and Support Staff get paid on a weekly basis. Teachers are paid on a daily rate based on 5.5 hours, support staff are paid hourly. Everyone is paid for the time they spend working only this does not include breaks or lunch periods.

Are we paid for travel expenses?
No, but in special circumstances if a particularly long journey is made, we may be able to help contribute. This is a decision made at the discretion of your local office’s Branch Manager.

How much do I get paid?
Teachers/Support Staff pay rates are based on experience and qualifications. At your interview at Key Stage Teacher Supply we will take this into account and ensure you receive a competitive rate.

What do I need to ensure I am paid on time?
A signed timesheet You can download a timesheet by clicking here for teachers or here for support staff. Or alternatively contact your local office for some to be posted out to you at home.
Remember: It is your responsibility to return signed timesheets to Key Stage Teacher Supply by 10.00am Monday of the week after you have worked. If you have worked in several schools we will need a signed timesheet for each school. The Headteacher or the person you have been asked to report to must sign them.

I am an overseas trained teacher can I work with Key Stage Teacher Supply?
Of course as long as you are living in the UK and have the necessary documentation to work.
In accordance to the Teacher Training Agency and DCSF, here are certain requirements that you need to achieve if you have been working in the UK for nearly 4 years.
